Explain about Exclamation Mark ( ! ):

जब आप किसी से बात कर रहे होते हैं तो , आप अपने चेहरे के expression से अपने हाव – भाव को प्रकट कर पाते हैं . यंहा हाव -भाव अर्थात आपकी Feelings or Emotions से है  . आपके बोलने के style से आपके हाव – भाव का पता चल जाता है . लेकिन क्या यही हाव – भाव, English लिखावट के समय भी पता चलता है ? इसका उत्तर है – हाँ .

English Writing में Exclamation Marks के जरिये आप अपने Emotions , Feelings , Excitements , Surprice emation , Anger, Enthusiam या अन्य किसी भी तरह intense emotion को व्यक्त कर सकते हैं . Exclamation marks को  ! चिन्ह द्वारा दर्शाया जाता है . यह चिन्ह सदैव वाक्य के अंत में लगाया जाता है .

When you are talking to someone, you are able to express your feelings , emotions or  gestures with the expression on your face. Your body language is known by the style of your speaking. But can the same gesture be detected at the time of writing in English as well? The answer is – yes.

Through Exclamation Marks in English Writing, you can express your Emotions, Feelings, excitement, surprise emotions, Anger, enthusiasm, or any other intense emotion. Exclamation marks ! is represented by the symbol. This mark is always placed at the end of the sentence.

What is Exclamation Mark?
Exclamation mark को English Writing के समय  ( !) चिन्ह के द्वारा प्रदर्शित किया जाता है. इसे हिंदी में विस्मय बोधक चिन्ह अथवा विस्मयादिबोधक चिन्ह कहते हैं।
याद रहे विस्मयादिबोधक अव्यय को English में Interjection कहते हैं। जबकि Interjection को दिखाने के लिए Exclamation mark ( ! ) का उपयोग किया जाता है , जो की एक Punctuation Mark भी होता है.
जिन शब्दों से हर्ष , शोक , आश्चर्य , प्रसन्नता , भय इत्यादि भावनाओं का बोध होता है वैसे शब्द को Interjection word  कहा जाता है, और इसे प्रकट करने के Exclamation mark ( ! ) का उपयोग किया जाता है।  या यूँ कह लें कि –
अचानक हुई किसी भी तरह की घटना जैसे कोई ख़ुशी प्रकट करना , शाबासी देना , आश्चर्य प्रकट करना या अन्य कोई भाव प्रकट करने के लिए Exclamation mark ( ! ) का उपयोग किया जाता है।

  • Hello! – नमस्ते!
  • Alas! – अफसोस!
  • Oh! – अरे!
  • Hurrah! – हुर्रे!
  • Wow! – वाह!
  • ahh! – आह/हाय!
  • alrighty/Ok! – ठीक है!
  • Hey! – अरे!
  • Well! – अच्छा!
  • No! – नहीं!
  • Oh my God! – हे भगवान!
  • What! – क्या!
Examples of Exaplanation Mark :
  • Yes ! I know you.  – हां ! मैं तुम्हे जानता हूँ।
  • God bless you !  –  भगवान् आपको आशीर्वाद दे !
  • How dare you ! –  तुम्हारी इतनी हिम्मत !
  • Thanks god ! भगवान् का शुक्र है !
  • Nonsense ! बकवास!
  • Congratulation ! बधाई हो !
  • Really ! सच में !
