Commonly confused words: A and An – Explain in Hindi:- English में कई बार कुछ Words को लेकर Confusion होते रहता है. जैसे A and An का प्रयोग कब, कैसे और क्यों किया जाता है. आज हम इस Article में A and An के बारे में कुछ महत्वपूर्ण तथ्य को जानने एवं समझने की कोशिश करेंगें.
A and An:-
English Language में A and An दोनों का अर्थ “एक” होता है. जब भी Sentence में किसी संख्या के बारे में बताना होता है तब हम A or An का प्रयोग करते हैं.
A and An का प्रयोग Singular Noun or Adjectives के पहले किया जाता है. दोनों के प्रयोग के नियम अलग – अलग होते हैं, जिसे हम आगे समझने वाले हैं. जैसे –
- I have a pen.
- They have a car.
- That is an Aeroplane.
- An Elephant is a big animal.
A का Use:-
यदि Noun , Singular & Countable है और उसका First Alphabet , Consonant है, तब हम उस Noun से पहले A का प्रयोग करेंगें.
Consonant क्या होता है, आपको पता है न? जरूर पता होगा !!!! English Alphabet में निम्न को Consonant कहते हैं –
B, C, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V, W, X, Y, Z
आईये कुछ Examples देखते हैं –
- A book.
- You should have a weekly list where you plan your entire week in advance.
- This activity gives you a visual picture of accomplishment.
- Please work on one task at a time.
- Successful people have a clear future orientation.
- I need a coffee, can you please?
An का Use:-
यदि Noun , Singular & Countable है और उसका First Alphabet , Vowel है, तब हम उस Noun से पहले An का प्रयोग करेंगें.
Vowel:- A, E, I, O, U ( कंही कंही H को भी Vowel Consider किया जाता है. जैसे Hour. यह निर्भर करता है Sound पर )
- How do you eat an elephant?
- Here is an interesting discovery.
- She is an excellent teacher.
- He fried an egg.
- He saw an unicorn in the picture book.
- He is eating an ice cream cone.
- It is an honour to talk with you.
