दोस्तों English Language में तीन Articles होते हैं, A An and The . इन Articles को Definite & Indefinite दो भागों में बांटा गया है. Indefinite Article (A and AN ) :
English Language में A and An का हिंदी अर्थ होता है – “एक”. A and An दोनों ही शब्द Singular Noun के पहले लगाये जाते हैं. यदि किसी Singular Noun का पहला Letter Consonant है तब उस Noun से पहले A का प्रयोग किया जाता है, और यदि पहला Letter Vowel or H है तब An का प्रयोग किया जाता है। e.g.-
Examples of “A” :
- I was going with a dog. ( dog का d , consonant है )
- I saw a dog on street.
- She is a doctor and works in a hospital.
- She is a tailor.
- He is wearing a white shirt.
Examples of “An” :
- I saw an elephant on road.
- She is an honest woman.
- He is an engineer.
- She received an award for her outstanding work.
- He is an excellent swimmer.
Definite Article (The) :
“The” को English Language में Definite Article के रूप में जाना जाता है . इसका प्रयोग Noun के पहले किया जाता है . The का प्रयोग किसी विशिष्ट व्यक्ति , वस्तु , स्थान को दर्शाने के लिए किया जाता है . The का प्रयोग किसी Numericl Noun (संख्यावाचक संज्ञा) अथवा Specified nouns (निर्दिष्ट संज्ञाओं) के पहले भी किया जाता है.
“The” is used to refer to a specific noun or group of nouns that have already been mentioned or are known to the speaker and listener.
Examples :
- The sun is shining brightly today.
- I love to visit the Taj Mahal.
- Prayag station is the cleanest station.
- The train is too late.
- My book is on the table.
Difference between A, An, and The :
