Hello Friends, English Language को सिखने के लिए Reading & Listening पर विशेष ध्यान देना होता है. इसलिए आज के Post में जिसका Heading है “Learn English through the stories: The Story of Monkey” में हम लोग Reading करेंगें और इस Reading के दौरान जो भी Important Vocabulary आएगी उसे भी कंठस्थ करेंगें.
जैसा कि हम लोग जानते हैं – Reading English stories is an important step in the English-spoken journey. It helps to increase the vocabulary of the English Language. इसलिए आप लोगों के लिए Level 1 की Reading Story निचे दी गयी है , आप इस Story को पूरा पढ़िए और अपना स्वयं जाँच कीजिये.
The Story of Monkey
There was a small village, there was a small forest near that village. Some monkeys lived in that forest, one of them was named Chamku. He was also very friendly, cheerful, and intelligent. All his friends used to spend time with him happily.
One day Chamku along with his friends decided that they would all go on a trip to the city. They all formed a group and set out on a journey to the city.
As soon as they reached the city, they saw a beautiful garden there. Many types of trees and plants were planted in that garden. There were even fruits on many trees.
Seeing various types of fruits, the monkeys started salivating.
Chamku planned to enter the garden and pluck the fruits. And entered the garden with his friends.
They all reached the fruit trees and started plucking them. They were so engrossed in plucking the fruits that they did not even notice the noise.
When the sound of the noise reached the garden owner’s ears, he came into the garden carrying a stick. He caught Chamku and his friends plucking fruits.
Chamku and his friends got very scared after seeing his stick. They started apologizing to the garden owner.
Then the owner lovingly explained to all the monkeys that entering someone’s garden without asking and plucking the fruits and eating them was theft. Similarly, using something belonging to someone else without his permission is also theft.
The monkeys of the village realized their mistake and promised that they would never steal again.
The owner of the garden gave them fruits to eat and left them.
Chamku and his friends returned to the village happily.
Vocabulary:

- Cheerful = हॅसमुख
- Intelligent = बुद्धिमान
- Planted = लगाया गया
- Salivating = लार टपकाना , मुंह में पानी आना
- Pluck = साहस
- Engrossed = तल्लीन

- Theft = चोरी
