What is Question Mark?
Question Mark ( प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह ) को ” ? “ द्वारा दर्शाया जाता है। यह एक विराम चिन्ह है जिसका प्रयोग प्रश्नवाची वाक्यों में किया जाता है। प्रश्नवाची वाक्यों को English में Interrogative Sentence कहते हैं। याद रहे Question Mark ( ? ) का प्रयोग प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य के अंत में किया जाता है।
Question Mark is represented by the sign “?”. It is a punctuation mark used in interrogative sentences. Remember Question Mark (?) is used at the end of a question sentence. e.g.
- Who are you?
- Where are you going?
- Why you are here?
- Hello Rahul ! can you give me that pen?
- I don’t know, who is that?
Rules to use Question Mark (?) in Sentence:-
Question mark का प्रयोग प्रमुखतः Interogative Sentence में किया जाता है . लेकिन कभी – कभी जरुरत को ध्यान में रखकर अथवा अवश्यकता अनुसार इसका प्रयोग Sarcastic Sentence ( व्यंगात्मक वाक्य ) में भी किया जाता है .
The question mark is mainly used in Interrogative Sentence. But sometimes it is also used in Sarcastic Sentences keeping in mind the need or as per requirement. e.g.
- People like you don’t lie? आप जैसे लोग झूठ नहीं बोलते ? ( व्यंग्य )
Question Mark का प्रयोग WH family से शुरू होने वाले वाक्यों के अंत में लगाया जाता है. WH family अर्थात What , Which , Who , Where , Why , When , How , Whose etc.
Conclusion :
- Question Mark is indicated by the sign “?”.
- “?” is used in an Interrogative sentence.
- “Question mark (?) is used at the end of an interrogative sentence.
- Interrogative sentences are those sentences that ask a question.
- WH family words mean What, How, Why, Who, Whose, Which, Where, etc. These words are used to ask questions.
